Today, the advance of technology is allowing all human around globe to boost their capacity and ability of work and improvement.
Agriculture is the most important factor in our life for our daily needs and our continuity. We always need food, but we need also good and best food. The new technology from google earth engine is here to facilitate our daily life as Farmers to check our lands in distance. The technology of remote sensing imagery can perform different tasks for us in more efficient methods:
We can use google earth engine to:
  • Detect plant diseases
  • Classify land cover (e.g. forest) and land use (e.g. agriculture)
  • Classify crop types by recognizing different crops like soybean, corn, wheat, etc.
  • Estimate crop yields by calculating the expected yield of a crop in a specific area
  • Identify weeds that compete with healthy crops for sunlight and soil nutrients
  • Monitor and predict soil moisture by detecting water stress
  • Assess herbicides, insecticides and fungicides effectiveness
  • Identify contaminants in crops and soil
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the seeding process
